Help ID if this Alaska Airlines Hat Badge?

This photo is from the 1940's and was included in a group of photos showing Alaska Airlines and Star Airlines photos. I am looking for some to confirm this is an Alaska Airlines hat badge and if it isn't, then what airline is it from.
