Is it possible to add a standard link to an aircraft article on the Aircraft Profile page? Some aircraft are linked to an article; many are not. You have three standard links now, could a fourth be added near the page top to take the viewer from the Aircraft Profile page to any article/s on that aircraft? If so, would the aircraft registration nomenclature, example: N number, have to be in the article title?

Hi Doug,

Thanks for the suggestion. It's a little hard, because there's no direct or obvious link between an article and an aircraft. Your suggestion to put aircraft registry into title looks like a possible solution for me.

The other reason I didn't put this kind of link up is because we have a much lower number of articles comparing to number of aircraft registries. The added link will only show up on a very minor part of aircraft profile pages.

Ken, I could supply the N numbers for the possible aircraft articles without links, and that might work for other article authors who have or could add N numbers to article titles if appropriate. I just can't figure how you have linked the articles thus far.

If I knew, I could do it as I prepare articles myself. I would like to offer many more articles, as there are a lot of vintage rare aircraft in restoration, and I have many references and enjoy preparing the articles. And, a lot of them fly into SZP. It seems to be a magnet for them. With my pro photographer friend, we are getting far better photos, too.

If I knew how to link N numbers, that could be done in Forum entries as I have seen, as well. I am just not a PC nerd.

Ken,

This does sound like a good idea.

It would be nice to have links to articles.

Best case would be to have the link near the top on the profile.

I have added comments to a few profiles.

Perhaps a link could be added prior to the comments section?

I really didn't think about this much before, but now I am seeing the value of the article section.

Your profiles are indexed by google quickly. A link would provide a valuable resource to many who want more info.

Best Regards,
