The FAA registration of N4427V Beech Constructor number (c/n) D-1231 is faulty in several respects. The aircraft was not built in 1947 as registered with the FAA. Beech c/ns D-1210 through D-1500 except D-1424 were all built in 1948 as model 35 Bonanzas.
So, the D-1231 c/n is of a 1948 Beech Bonanza with ruddervator Vee tail, not of a Beech Debonair. The first Beech Debonair with conventional (straight tail) empennage assembly did not fly until 14 September, 1959 as a model 35-33 Debonair. All Beech Debonair models start with a c/n CD-. Just to complicate things further, in the 1968 model year Beech started calling new production straight tail Debonairs E33 Bonanzas, dropping the Debonair name. Based on the straight tail E33 Bonanza, the model 36 of 1968 was a straight tail Bonanza, and all further new Bonanza models up to the current G36 Bonanza have straight tails.
Somehow, this may be of little help to your question.
