N72SJ

Prospective buyers of this aircraft BEWARE:

This aircraft is being sold with misleading information regarding its prior damage history, that the current owners have been made aware of but choose to disregard.

The aircraft suffered a collapsed nose gear in Europe; naturally a prop strike; was sold to a Canadian buyer as "salvage," repaired, bought by me, then suffered a forced emergency landing in New York on its ferry flight to Florida when losing all oil when cylinders came loose; suspected camshaft damage, inaccurate motor cradle repair, and several other issues that would highly discount any fair appraisal of this aircraft from what it is being presented as.

More formal notification of this with the FAA is in process so the Blue Ribbon report can be accurate.

Which is correct - description or photo? No prop or cylinders on a business jet....

Peter.

The format of this blog is confusing, in that you have to look closely that the original registration to the jet is no longer active, and beneath it is the Turbo Arrow which is active, and what my comments pertained to.

Wouldn't N7MM then be the accurate reference to the Piper prop plane?
