N735KP

Does anyone have any information about this sad event, ie the crash on June 28, 2007 of Bruce Kennedy, N735KP, Cashmere, WA. It always bothers me when good pilots go down. For no apparent reason. Seems to happen al too often.

The NTSB has public records of aircraft accidents of US registered aircraft.

Thanks for the link. I'm generally aware ntsb reports on aviation accidents. However, do they update the preliminary findings, especially in fatalities, and make the info public?

Eventually a final report will come out. If you use the search engine at ntsb.gov you'll find a "factual" report and a "probably cause" report. But it usually takes over a year before that happens.

The level of detail can vary quite a bit. In this example they recovered the Garmin portable GPS and were able to get data out of it. They measured the distance between propeller strikes to estimate speeds.
