  • Anyone know anything about this Dash-8?

tail has an american flag and says 95086, which looks to be a part of a military serial number, but an internet search doesnt turn up anything. if it is truly US military, then it should be some version of an E-9, but i can only find info on 2 E-9As that the AF has in Florida. any info welcome, thanks

It may be a shot in the dark, but could it be like the unmarked Boeing 737's that fly to/from Area 51 from LAS and be an unmarked Governmental aircraft to ferry workers to and fro? Maybe not, as I believe those 737's are white with a red stripe running along the fuselage at the window level and don't carry any markings at all.

A conspiracy theory maybe :

I've checked Jetphoto's as well, and no joy there either. Maybe my theory has some mileage, though the dome on the top looks like some form of radar and the colour scheme to me smacks of Navy, but I'm no officionado on U.S. military or Government colour schemes.

P.S. I am not a pinko commie subversive.

I would imagine it is a JOSC aircraft. They have been acquiring many different types to ferry people around. It may be one of the aircraft "based" out of Cannon AFB in New Mexico.

Or it could be a "Company" aircraft....one never knows...

I'll keep looking and see what I can find out.

Enjoy the scenery!

sorry Zane, thats an old Blackwater Dash, they still use it, but its a different registration now since Blackwater no longer exists as Blackwater lol. I believe its something like N986AR now. i could be mistaken.

but yeah, completely different than the one i showed.
