Thanks for posting that. I havent been to RSW since 2006. Problem with Spots A and B also appear to be that backlit photos would be an issue with exeception of summer evenings.
Are spots B and C legal to park at or just to "guerilla shoot"? If you stayed there for more than a few minutes would a cop move you along and tell you to go to spot A if you want to watch planes?
Sorry, I just saw your question. I haven't been on-line for a while.
I haven't had a problem with law enforcement. I have taken photos there for about an hour on two separate occasions. It is not posted (No Parking/Stopping/Standing) so I took my chances. I had one police officer pass by and he just waved. But I have received feedback that any other place then the fenced in observation area and they have been asked to move.
However, I strongly advise to follow any orders to move without incident.
