N33P
N33P was originally an Aeronca 7AC (7AC-2801) which later was modified to become a 7EC. When first I encountered it it was owned by The Cape Ann Flying Club of Gloucester, MA. It was purchased in the 1950s by Fall River Aero Club, successor to Fall River Flying Club whose earlier 7AC (N3525E) and 11AC (N9339E) were destroyed by a hurricane in 1954.
Around 1964 it was heavily damaged after a no-fuel landing at Fall River, teetering at the edge of the cliff-end of a runway before falling off. Nobody was hurt. The person who was flying it at the time bought the remains and reworked it into a 7CCM, changing the registration to N33P at that time.
