I took a number of photos at the Australian International Airshow at Avalon on Mar 3, and these are in a folder in my gallery. However, I took one which wasn't all that great in the normal 4 format photo. It was 4 Super Hornets returning after a formation aerobatic display, but they were strung out well apart, leaving them very small in the image, with lots of sky and lots of foreground. Then I wondered, if I crop the sky and the foreground, how would it look as a panorama? Here's how...

Peter

As you will be aware Peter, there is no rule restricting the proportions for images.

Personally I prefer to keep with either 6 x 4 or 4 x 3.

If you cropped the RH and LH ends closer to the frame edges, how would it look in 4 x 6?

Malcolm.
