  • Outer Marker's impact on human health

Hello guys,

Not sure this is the right place to post.... I live pretty close to the following outer marker (~500ft) of HPN-16, and a bit concerned about its EM field impact on human health. Does anybody know any related information?

Really appreciate it!

Do you have electric lights?

Have wi-fi?

Work in a building with wi-fi?

You have radio in your car?

In your home?

Do you ever walk outside?

If your answer to any of these questions is yes then you have nothing to worry about with the outer marker radio transmitter.

Zane is absolutely right. Daily our bodies are bombarded with RF energy from every radio and TV station serving their transmission-our reception areas, as well as Wi-Fi and natural sources. Are you aware of police radars? A lightning and thunder storm unleashes incredible amounts of RF energy over wide areas of the earth. The Low Frequency RF energy of an aircraft marker beacon is nothing to be concerned about, unless you are a certified NIMBY.

If you have answered YES to all of Zane's questions and are still concerned, then you could always wear one of these

Or if you live in the Southern US and can't afford tinfoil...

Thanks guys. I actually like the tinfoil better. :)))

Sure, that could attract lightning. An armadillo shell is non-metallic.
