Last weekend saw the 100th anniversary of the first flight of the Royal Australian Flying Corps, forerunner of the Royal Australian Air Force, at Pt Cook Air Force Base, the oldest airbase in the world in continuous airforce service still operating.
The airshow featured many of the aircraft operated by the RAAF, from a replica of the first aircraft, a Bristol Boxkite and replica Sopwith Pup, to a full scale mock-up of the yet to be delivered F-35 Lightning II. I attended the show on Sunday, March 2, and took a large number of images. Many of these cannot be added to the database because the serial or construction numbers are unknown, so I have uploaded them to Flickr, and the link is below. I will add some more when I edit them, and rearrange them into chronological order, but I enter hospital later today for cancer surgery.

While in Flickr, click on SETS and take a look at some of my other aviation photos.
