This A/C was actually built in 1947. My father bought it in 1965 or 66. I learned to fly in it. It was all original with about 600 hours TT. After he sold it, I believe it was landed hard at the Littleton, CO airport. When we owned it, it was based at Columbine Airport south of Lakewood, CO. My dad had a radio installed and some other minor work done. It was covered in Ceconite with a blue and white paint scheme.

thanks for the correction on the build date, I have updated the database

Cheers

WOW that was fast........ I was just googling various things and the "Bluebird" came to mind. Wish I had a digital photo to submit, will bug may dad for his hard copies and scan them in for future submission.

The PA-12 had either a Lycoming O-235C at 108 HP or the O-235C1 with 115 HP. 64M had the former 108 HP engine when we owned it.

N450C is my Grandfather's plane, he recently passed. I guess I am wondering if anyone is interested in it or has any history or interesting information on it. I couldn't find much about them on Google. I'll try other search engines as well. Thank you for the reply.
