N3727V
N3727V was a great A/C that met a horrible fate. It was destroyed in the May Day 2010 Flood in Nashville, Tn. It was at M88, Cornelia Fort Air Park along the banks of the Cumberland River. "The Fort" was a fantastic airport tucked securely in East Nashville, and directly across the River from The Opryland Complex.
The flood was a total shock to the community and lots of unanswered questions about how the Army Corp of Engineers handled the Dam at Old Hickory Lake.
Unfortunately WA-130 N3727V was swept out of the hangar and spent a week under water. As with many of the other aircraft on the field the damage was more than insurance was going to cover. It was scraped by a salvage outfit from Arkansas.
