R-170 Checking aircraft data for R-170 I found a L-21B (ex RNLAF correct) and a AT16 which is not correct. Mentioned is also that it's previous reg was PH-BKT, but the original reg RNLAF was B-135! So I think these AT16 details can be removed,

I agree and have deleted the profiles you refer to.

However we also have some confusion in the database which involves R-170.

The correct linked registrations for R-170 are 54-2460, R-170 and PH-WAS, the cn being 18-3860.

My understanding is that PH-WAS was W/O at Seppe on May 5th 1982.

We have in the database the following linked profiles – 26222, 54-2460 and PH-ENJ.

Under PH-ENJ we have 12 photographs.

The first two were, I believe, submitted by yourself and I believe them to be of R-170.

The remaining were all taken after 2006 and therefore cannot be R-170 as they are marked.

Joe Baugher has a note in his listings against R-170

“ A plane marked as 54-2460/R-170 was seen in August of 2006 at Shaffen, but this is actually 52-6222 re-marked as R-170”.

Thus 10 of the photos I refer to are correctly listed against PH-ENJ but the correct linked profiles should be 52-6222, 182540 (French Army), D-ELKG and PH-ENJ with the cn 18-2540.

Do you agree with the above?

Malcolm thanks! You are very correct, searching for R-170 (before loading up) I saw this record and did not really check the c/n, sorry. Trie to make a separate item for the 'real R-170'

Regards Gerrit

Thank you Gerrit for uploading your many interesting L-21 images.

There is now a profile for R-170 with the appropriate links.

Also linked profiles for the airframe falsely marked R-170.
