looking for OH-58A with specific tail numbers

Hi,

I'm knew to this site. My dad is looking for specific tail numbers of Bell OH-58A helicopters that he worked on in Vietnam. The tail numbers begin with "68". They are 68-16711, 68-16712 and 68-16713.

Does anyone have any information on any of these? or know where I might get info?

68-16711 has a civilian reg of N153SA available at http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/NNum_Results.aspx?NNumbertxt=153SA

68-16713 is still reg to US Army Aviation according to http://www.helis.com/database/cn/28705/

I am an ex-Vietnam helicopter scout pilot, searching for historical information on 68-16711 for its owner. The VHPA (Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association) has no information on this OH-58. Could you share any information/pictures your Dad may have regarding this helicopter. We have a picture that seems to show 711 in a revetment at Vung Tau in 1969.

My dad actually found the OH-58 you are asking about. It is owned by Terry Hodges, in West Branch MI -- my dad as spoken with him and one of dad's friends that was in Vietnam with him has been to visit and seen this restoration.
