My uncle, Hank Dyson, found this plane in a barn in eastern Oregon in the late 50's. He restored it in his garage and flew it from Thun Field in Puyallup, WA for many years before selling it to Laurence "Scrappy" Blumer (WWII's fastest ace.) After Larry (a family friend) sold it to someone in CA, years later my uncle relocated it in Trade-a-Plane and repurchased it. My uncle passed away 3 years ago and now it belongs to my cousin Keith.
