The Pearl Harbor attack of 7 Dec. 1941 that brought America into World War II will be commemorated by the CAF-Southern California Wing at their Museum at Camarillo Airport KCMA on Saturday, 6 December. World war II aircraft will be on display, special displays and exhibits, photo opportunities in a cockpit of a WWII fighter, ride opportunities in WWII trainer aircraft and more events for the entire family will be offered. At 1 p.m., retired Col. James Hinckley will speak about the Japanese attack that sunk many US ships, destroyed 188 aircraft and killed 2,403 Americans. The Japanese lost 29 aircraft and six submarines.
At 2 p.m. WWII aircraft will flyover. The CAF's Mitsubishi ZERO, one of just three flying, will take to the air. Great photo opportunity!
