Personally, I think people are overreacting to this. The AOPA has had signs posted at airports for years with a phone number to call about "suspicious activity." Of course, they don't have a picture of a photographer on them, but I don't think they have caused any major headaches for people legitimately taking pictures.

It's interesting that the posters available on the TSA website for download do not include this one, although as Zane said, the blog seems to sort of confirm its existence.

To a certain extent, I think the whole campaign is more about a government agency trying to justify its budget by saying "look at what we're doing to increase security" than it is a serious effort to actually do anything about it. The supposedly spent $13 million on this program, which is probably less than their office supplies budget for a month. (That seems like a lot of money for a video and a few posters doesn't it? Typical government agency, always paying more than what it would cost anybody else.)

Most people working at the airports, or flying in and out of them, probably won't pay much attention to this anyway. If they are concerned about security, they will already be looking out for suspicious situations. If they're not, then this isn't going to change their minds. Who is supposed to see the video anyway?
